Terms

These terms are between you and Deaf Choices UK Limited, a registered charity in England and Wales (number 279523) and a company limited by guarantee (number 01477997), of The Boatshed, Steamer Quay Road, Totnes, TQ9 5AL ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

What uCue does

uCue shows the British Cued Speech cues for English words, using the Received Pronunciation of British English. Many words can be pronounced more than one way, so uCue's cues may differ from how you or your family say a word. Use it as a guide alongside learning from a qualified Cued Speech tutor.

Free trial

A first subscription may start with a free trial; the pricing page says so before you subscribe. You enter your card when you subscribe, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you won't be charged.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold by Onelink, Stripe's seller of record, which takes payment and handles tax and receipts. Your statement will show LINK.COM. A subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel at any time from your account (Manage billing) or at link.com. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds, including your legal right to cancel, are handled by Onelink under its refund policy.

Using uCue

Your account is for your own use. You may download and print the cue images uCue shows you, for your own learning and teaching. Please don't share your account, copy the cue images in bulk, or republish them. The cue artwork is the copyright of Deaf Choices UK Limited.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms or try to get round uCue's limits.

Our responsibility

We work to keep uCue accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be either. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and tell subscribers by email before a change affects them. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions go to jacobcalder.video@gmail.com.
